The Ono axe is exceptionally well balanced and a pleasure to use. It comes with a non-slip rubberized handle which absorbs the impact and directs more usable energy to the cutting edge.
It is suitable for chopping small branches and firewood and is ideal for camping.
The Ono is supplied with a durable fabric cover that can be attached to your belt.
The blade can be resharpened as and when required but also can be replaced easily without the need for any unscrewing.
As with all Silky products the blades are extremely sharp and care should be taken. Always store the blade in the fabric pouch provided which has a custom made hanging hole for easy storage.

The mono construction blade of the Ono can be easily replaced without the need for any unscrewing. It is light but strong due to the use of special alloy steel and has a superior quality finish.
